THE 2026 ONLINE CHARITY AUCTION WILL BE LAUNCHED ON MONDAY 23 FEBRUARY. DO NOT BID YET!
Following the success of online auctions held annually since 2021, the Club is holding a further auction with a launch date of 23 February 2026 and closing at 12 noon on Friday 13 March 2026. Monies raised will be donated to the Chairman's Charity, the Hythe Dementia Awareness Forum.
Club members who wish to bid for an item should use the Bidding Form below. Please enter the Lot Number, the amount of your bid (whole £s only, no pence), your name and email address and then click the Submit Bid button.
Some items have a Reserve Price which is the minimum amount which will be accepted. Items with No Reserve could be yours for as little as £1! Most items have a Buy it Now Price. If there is an item you really want, you could go for a lower bid and keep watching to see if you are outbid. However if you want certainty that the item will be yours, you can bid the Buy it Now Price and the item will be secured for you immediately.
When you make a bid, a message confirming that your bid has been submitted will appear on this screen. If you wish to make a further bid please refresh the page. The Webmaster will automatically receive notification of your bid and will update the website with Current Bids at least twice daily. If multiple bids of the same value are received between website updates the person notifying first will be the successful bidder and other bidders will be advised accordingly.
When the auction has ended successful bidders and those donating goods will be contacted individually about payment arrangements and getting the items. Disclaimer: Hythe Ladies’ Probus Club cannot be held responsible for the description or quality of goods submitted for auction and any issues should be dealt with between the successful bidder and the person donating the lot direct.
In past years members have asked how they can make a donation to the charity without bidding for an item. If you wish to do that you can use the bidding form and enter 0 (a zero) under Lot Number, the amount of your donation under Bid £, together with your name and email address. Donations for the Hythe Dementia Awareness Forum will be gratefully received and will be collected when the auction has closed.
